PVC Jump Cups Now Available.

FORMUFIT Jump Cup

After being asked (begged?) to carry them for some time, we now offer 1” and 3/4” PVC Jump Cups for your Dog Agility projects. Both the 1” and 3/4” Jump Cups meet AKC and USDAA requirements for Dog Agility Obstacles.

For those unfamiliar, Jump Cups are snap-on attachments that are used to suspend a ‘jump pole’ between two perpendicular poles on either end for Dog Agility Jumps and other agility equipment.  They are ideal for training as it allows the ‘jump pole’ to fall off easily without tripping your pet.

FORMUFIT Jump Cups feature smoothed edges that wont snag fur or skin, snap-on capability that secures firmly to 1” or 3/4” PVC pipe, and the ability to slide the Jump Cup up or down to increase training strength.

The 1” PVC Jump Cups (sold in pairs) are available now in our PVC Accessories section here.

The 3/4” PVC Jump Cups (also sold in pairs) are now available in our PVC Accessories section here.

FORMUFIT: 100% Made in the USA.

We get asked often if our products are ‘Made in America’.  Unlike many of our online competitors, our answer is always the same:

Yes. Very much yes.

We take pride in the fact that all of our products are sourced locally from the United States.  We go out of our way to make sure that all of our products that we offer are American made.  In fact, we refuse to import any products from overseas.   It's our policy. Why do we do this?  Allow us to explain:

1.    Using products from other countries does not help the economic situation in the Unites States.   We could easily increase our profits (generously) if we wanted to import our products from abroad like some of our competitors have chosen to do.  However, if we were to import products from overseas, Americans would lose jobs.  The majority of our sales are to Americans.  In the circle of economics, that just doesn’t make any sense.

2.    There is no safety standards on PVC products imported from most overseas countries.   Imported PVC products from overseas manufacturers contain dioxin by-products, phthalate plasticizers and other harmful toxins in their products.  We use no such chemicals in the extrusion or manufacture of our products.  Our products are pure polyvinyl chloride and UV-protectant, are non-toxic and completely safe and all of our manufacturers follow strict safety guidelines for their employees.

3.    The quality of the products we sell is exceptional.  Most imported PVC fittings and pipe do not have the required UV-protectant that is so important when building a structural PVC project.  Without it, projects will turn yellow and crack in a very short period of time.  In addition, they have sharp, flat edges which wont work for products such as furniture, dog agility jumps or any other structure that would require human, or animal, contact.  Finally, the products we get from the US are beautiful, glossy and impact proof, something we have note found in an imported construction.

Don’t get us wrong.  We love our iMacs and our Kindles.  But when it comes to the economic setting, safety and quality of our PVC products, were keeping it in the United States.
